    • Microsoft Office add-in — for Word, Outlook on desktop

  3. Choose your plan:
    • Free: Basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation corrections
    • Premium ($12/mo billed annually): Clarity, tone, word choice, sentence variety, plagiarism detection, generative AI
    • Business ($15/user/mo): Everything in Premium + brand voice, style guides, analytics dashboard, admin controls, SAML SSO
  4. Set your writing goals: Click the Grammarly icon > Goals to configure audience, formality, domain, and intent for more targeted suggestions.
Tip: Use the tone detector before sending important emails — it shows how your message is likely to be perceived. The generative AI feature (sparkle icon) can rewrite entire paragraphs in a different tone or expand notes into polished prose.
